COMMENTS FROM BEAVERTON, OREGON: Smart meters can damage health and kill animals and plants

Many people from around the world have been sharing their stories of suffering from excessive exposure to cell towers, smart meters, modems, cell phones, and other forms of microwave radiation. Many of these stories can be found on www.wearetheevidence.org

I recently read Deanna Munson’s post on Facebook and I find it particularly moving. Deanna touches on one very important aspect related to the effects of this pervasive technology: emotional volatility. Have you been wondering why there is so much bad news, so much road rage, upsurge in suicides, and so many people shooting each other–especially kids? The schools where our children spend their time are loaded with smart meters, Wi-Fi modems, cell phones and cell towers. Fortunately, many parents around the country are starting to realize this and things are, and will continue to change.

FROM DEANNA:

I live in Beaverton, Oregon and have been suffering beyond words since smart meters came to my neighborhood seven-plus years ago. My ten-year-old cats have been injured by them, too. In Oregon, the utilities run so much ground current from these meters that my Wi-Fi & dirty electricity measuring device pegs over the limit near the ground outside my back door. I sure hope you guys [refers to Southern Oregon] get them stopped there.

All the bats around my house fell to the ground and died in less than an hour over the first few weeks after smart meters were deployed. So there are no more bats here. I’ve only seen maybe 1-2 in all this time. Bats used to dart all over the night sky when I first moved in here. The frogs also disappeared soon after the meters came. After about two years, all the frogs were gone, too.

These things [smart meters] are HORRIBLE, evil devices. Although Portland General Electric told me I am “the only one complaining,” the entire neighborhood has changed dramatically. People are fighting all the time in their apartments. The kids are acting out behaviorally. Everyone is tense and reactive. There is even stress in the trees, most of which have died over the last seven years.
